the original drawing looked better. =/ i was trying to make the cloak much more noticeable and easier to tell from the background. i had this whole recurring theme going on, showing up in twi's hair, the way her cloak was moving and even in the moon. unfortunately it's not as easy to see because the cloak and dark background mix.
too late to go back now though. move forward! always look to the future!

I experimented a bit more with this pic. So (and i know i haven't really asked this before) please feel free to examine and offer insight, critique, and advice. I'd like to learn from this one.

Amaaaazing

The only bad thing I can say about this is the collar part of the cloak looks a bit too flat in comparison to the rest of the image. I know your shading style in this is very flat, but perhaps you could add a second layer of darker shadows to make the collar look not so flat in comparison.
Lovely otherwise, though. :3
